Khichu is a Popular snack from Gujarat which is light savory & topped with Mustard Seeds. These lightweight snacks sit beautifully on a platter and are garnished with nice tempering of mustard seeds. Khichu is a dough for making Papad, however owing to its taste it is a simple, easy-to-make spicy, delicious and healthy Gujarati Snack Food. Deep's Khichu Mix is prepared with the appropriate mixture of paddy, salt, cumin seeds, soda, and other basic ingredients under the most hygienic conditions. The Snack is prepared by cooking flour in water like porridge with cumin seeds and alkaline salt/papad Khar.”

How to Use:

• Take 4.5 cups (650 ml) water with 2-3 finely chopped green chili and 5-6 tsp oil in a deep nonstick pan. Allow it to boil for 2-3 min.
• Add contents of the pack and mix well. Stir continuously for uniform consistency with a wooden spoon.
• Cover and cook for 5 - 10 min on low flame.
• Add 5 - 6 tsp oil and serve hot with Achar Masala.

Note: Rice Papad can also be made from this mix.
